Abhorrence - a feeling of intense disapproval of something.
Acquiesce - to agree or comply with something in a passive or reserved way.Anecdotes - a short personal account of an incident or event.
Bereavement - to deprive somebody of a beloved person.
Bountiful - giving generously, particularly to less fortunate people.
Chagrin - a feeling of vexation or humiliation due to disappointment about something.
Clothes-press – clothes-cupboard.
Complacently - self-satisfied and unaware of possible dangers.
Crammed - force objects or people into a space or container that is too
small to hold them comfortably.
Deaved – banged, stunned (literally, deafened by noise).
Delirium - a state marked by extreme restlessness, confusion.
Disparagement - to refer disapprovingly or contemptuously.
Embalming - to treat a dead body with a preservative substance in order to stop it decaying.
Endeavoring - to make a serious and sincere effort to achieve something.
Expostulations - to express disagreement or disapproval.
Exuberance - full of happy high spirits and vitality.
Flaysome – frightening.
Flurried - a short period when a lot of things happen.
Excursion - a short trip to a place and back, for pleasure or a purpose.
Gripe – have or cause stomach pain.
Hovel - a small, dirty, or poorly built house
Heedless - not paying attention to somebody or to something.
Irksome - slightly annoying, especially because of being tedious.
Jocks – jugs.
Languid - lacking vigor and energy.
Lavished - given or produced in abundance or to excess.
Lugs – ears.
Malevolence - having or showing a desire to harm others.
Monopolized - to demand or take all of something.
Nab – a projecting part of a hill or rock.

Obdurate - not easily persuaded or influenced.
Offald – worthless.
Paragon – somebody or something that is the very best example of something.
Physiognomy - the features of somebody's face.
Plisky – mischievous trick.
Prognosticate - to predict or foretell future events.
Sanctimonious - making an exaggerated show of holiness or moral superiority.
Scroop – the back of the cover of a book.
Sexton - the caretaker of a church and its graveyard.
Skift – move away briskly.
Soliloquize - to speak a soliloquy in the course of a play.
Spurn - to reject a person, offer, gift.
Sullen - showing bad temper or hostility.
Thible – a smooth stick or spatula used for stirring broth, porridge, etc.

Vivacity - liveliness and high-spiritedness.
